Rich Media Advertising for Publishers

Add premium rich media formats to your direct advertising offer without developing each campaign from scratch. The formats are creative templates for Google Ad Manager. Your team traffics the assets.

Start from the overview of rich media ads, or open the rich media ad examples.

When an advertiser asks for a takeover

The request is rarely “send us a creative template.” It is a placement: a page skin, a unit that stays on screen, a full-screen intro, a parallax block in the article. Sales says yes because the rate is worth it. Then the work lands on development.

The usual path is custom JavaScript and CSS, a test pass, a GAM integration, and a debugging cycle that belongs to that one campaign. The next advertiser starts the cycle again.

What changes with a creative template

The format already exists. Ad operations chooses it, creates a creative, uploads the advertiser’s files, previews, and adds the creative to the line item. The same Wallpaper template serves the next skin. The same Floater serves the next overlay.

Without a reusable format

  1. Developer writes the layout for this campaign
  2. Test across the breakpoints you sell
  3. Wire the click and the impression in GAM
  4. Fix what breaks on the live site

With a Genecy template

  1. Choose the format you already sell
  2. Create the creative in Google Ad Manager
  3. Upload assets and set the click URL
  4. Preview, then attach it to the line item

Formats publishers sell most often

These are the placements that show up on direct proposals. Each name links to the creative template behind it.

  • Floater

Keeps a banner fixed on top of page content. Always visible, always effective. Always-visible overlay units for direct campaigns.

  • Wallpaper

Wraps the website with creative (skin format). Supports sticky and parallax effects. Page skins and desktop takeovers.

  • Parallaxer

Keeps a creative fixed in the background while scrolling for a parallax effect. Parallax and interscroller placements.

  • Interstitial

Full-screen ad shown for a few seconds before users continue to content. Launches, takeovers, and short full-screen bursts.

  • Welcomer

Pushes the website down to display a banner at the very top. High visibility and strong impact. Pushdown placements at the top of the page.

  • Tilter

Interactive banner with a 3D tilt effect that responds to cursor hover or touch movement. Interactive 3D tilt on a display unit.

The wider set, including expandable, in-article, and interactive units, is on the examples page. Setup notes for the whole library live with the creative templates.

From the request to the line item

Agree the placement with the advertiser before creative production starts. If the format is out-of-page, the ad unit has to exist before trafficking day. Send the preview URL with the assets in place so the client signs off on behavior, not on a flat mock. Then attach the creative to the line item and keep the close control and the end time as part of the proposal, not as a fix after launch.

Pricing for the template library is on the pricing page. If you want the formats walked through on your own site, contact us or request a demo.
